The Group Accountant will contribute towards the preparation and submission of the statutory accounts for all 20+ entities across multiple jurisdictions within EMEA whilst ensuring the interim and year-end audits run smoothly. The Group Accountant will support and coach the other Group Accountant. The successful candidate will be a professional with an incredible attitude to learning and personal development and has a proven record being ambitious and proactive
Skills and Knowledge
· Qualified with ACCA / ACA / CIMA
· Extensive EMEA Statutory Reporting Experience
· Fully PC literate with the ability to use the MS suite
· Aptitude for continual learning and development with different systems, applications and multiple software packages
· Ability to use IT packages, mainly Excel to analyse and manipulate data
· Previous recruitment or similar industry background is desirable
· Previous experience of FCCS (Financial consolidation and close) is desirable
· Experience of multi-currency
· Strong knowledge of IFRS
· Consolidation Accounting Experience
· Strong knowledge of external audit

Own the relationship with our external auditors and ensure the efficient delivery of the audit and filing of all statutory financial statements on time and in compliance with local requirements including the consolidated financial statements for the EMEA group.
· Own the relationship with external accountants that support the audit and financial statement process – ensure efficiency and value for money as well as deadlines met
· Be an active member of the CSRD working group and ensure any reporting is in line with local requirements
· Estimate and support with the calculation of Participation in France
· Ensure any risks and controls are identified and managed appropriately
· Support the bid team with any requests that they have in relation to bids as well as creating and maintaining the share point
· Provide technical accounting guidance to the Finance Team
· Liaise with FP&A to provide the group accounting budget and monitor through the year
· Ad hoc financial analysis and investigative tasks
· Carrying out of such ad-hoc tasks as required by the Group Finance Director
